Consultation: Perceptions of human-generated noise and light in marine and freshwater environments

If you want to have a say on future actions and strategies to manage human-generated noise and light in aquatic environments across Europe, please participate in our consultation!
As part of the AquaPLAN project, we are studying the Perceptions of human-generated noise and light in marine and freshwater environments. AquaPLAN aims to quantify the combined impacts of light and noise on aquatic biodiversity in European waters and facilitate the implementation of practical and informed strategies for mitigation in the EU and wider Europe.
We are inviting respondents working in European aquatic-related:
- Companies (technical/environmental manager)
- Non-governmental organisations
- Policy makers/government at all levels
To participate, your work needs to be a) based on/in a marine or freshwater environment, and b) have knowledge of your company’s/organisation’s current and planned activities.
It takes 30 minutes or less to complete and is entirely anonymous, so your identity will not be disclosed publicly. If you have any questions or complaints about this study, then please contact: Dr. Garrard sga@pml.ac.uk
