The Marine Biodiversity Observation Network (MBON) is the marine thematic network under the GEO BON (Group on Earth Observations Biodiversity Observation Network). MBON is a global collaborative initiative that contributes to the effective management of marine biodiversity and ecosystem services, a community of practice to observe life in the sea.
