Objectives:
Led by University of Plymouth (UOP), the team will quantify for the first time the co-occurrence of LNP in space and time and its potential impacts on a variety of organisms and habitats by using novel state of the art research approaches and facilities across the AquaPLAN consortium. The resulting insights will inform the development of a pan-European map of the combined risks that LNP pose to aquatic biodiversity and will be used to develop specific measures to prevent negative impacts, by implementing and applying a novel, long-term monitoring programme.
