AquaPLAN features at Horizon Europe Info Week 2025

AquaPLAN Coordinator Elena Maggi was invited to speak at the Italian National Horizon Europe Info Week 2025, organised by APRE – Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea and the European Commission. At the morning session dedicated to Cluster 6 – Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment, alongside key representatives from national and EU institutions, Elena proudly presented AquaPLAN.

It was a particularly valuable info session for Italian applicants going for any upcoming Horizon Europe funding calls. Elena’s presentation focused on the project’s conception and development while also highlighting its multidisciplinary approach and most recent amendment to include our new Associated Partner University of New South Wales (UNSW) as well as the addition of oyster reef restoration in La Spezia, which not only demonstrates the project’s adaptability and coherent evolution but also the everyday challenges that can be encountered with a project of this magnnitude! The morning session concluded with an insightful Q&A session covering practical advice for current and upcoming Horizon Europe applicants.
