AQUARIUS project opens first transnational access funding call

AQUARIUS

Applications are now open for the first AQUARIUS Transnational Access Funding Call offering a total of €8.1 million to support scientific projects to access world-class research infrastructures for their marine and freshwater research. The “Regional Lighthouse Access Call” is the first of its kind to provide free access to such a diverse portfolio of European research infrastructures, including research vessels, aircraft, drones, satellites, river and basin supersites, mobile and fixed marine observation platforms, and sophisticated data service infrastructures. It will run from today, 11 November 2024, until midnight on 20 January 2025.

Research scientists from academia, government bodies, industry or citizen science groups have a rare chance to visit and make use of these facilities for free in order to further their studies of freshwater and marine environments and contribute to the EU Mission: Restore our Oceans and Waters by 2030. Don’t miss this this chance to further your freshwater and marine studies!
